Everyone is welcome to join in the Yarmouth Dragon Boat Festival 2009. Get your team together for a morning of fun and competition! There will be fun for the whole family!

Dragon Boating is an ancient Chinese sport where crews of 20 paddlers plus one drummer and one steers person practice, train and race on rivers and lakes. Dragon boat is currently the fastest growing water sport in the world. The Chinese Dragon Boat features the head and tail of a dragon, a mythological creature regarded by the Chinese as having dominion over the waters and exercising control over rainfall.
