Hurtigruten Group operated passenger vessel MS Fram will be visiting the Yarmouth and Acadian Shores region on April 24th, May 10th, May 14th and October 3rd, 2019.  This expedition-type cruise ship will anchor at the mouth of Yarmouth Harbour and the passengers will be tendered via zodiac to John's Cove beach - a standard practice for this type of cruise ship.  They will then either visit Cape Forchu, kayak in Yarmouth Harbour or walk and explore the Town of Yarmouth.  A passenger bus will be available to transport them to these locations.

The Yarmouth & Acadian Shores Tourism Association (YASTA) is a member of the Atlantic Canada Cruise Association (ACCA) and is happy that their efforts are attracting small cruise ships to the region.  "The travelers on MS Fram love unique and off the beaten path excursions.  Yarmouth &  Acadian Shores is a special destination and we love being able to showcase our local culture and attractions" says Neil MacKenzie, Executive Director of YASTA.  "The fact that they are coming here 4 times this year after visiting us last year tells me that they like what we have to offer.  Our brand positioning - explore nature and culture with room to breathe - resonates with their passengers."
MS Fram visited the region twice last year, in May and October of 2018.
